The Devil Wears Prada
One of the most hotly anticipated new musicals to hit Broadway in 2020 was The Devil Wears Prada. With music by Elton John and lyrics by Shaina Taub, the premiere was initially pushed back to 2021 but the producers have now confirmed it will now begin its run at Chicago’s James M. Nederlander Theatre in July 2022.
I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change
Filmed on stage at the London Coliseum, a three night run of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change streams from January 28th to 30th only. The streamed production of the Off-Broadway musical stars Simon Lipkin, Alice Fearn, Oliver Tompsett, and Brenda Edwards. The London Premiere of Frozen
The West End production of Frozen had been due to open in April 2020 but producers have confirmed that it will now be postponed for “just a little longer”. However, in the meantime, they have released a behind-the-scenes video of the preparations underway for this magical show.
Brendan Fraser to star in the movie adaptation of Samuel D. Hunter’s The Whale
It was confirmed this month that Brendan Fraser will make a return to the screen in a new film adaptation of the Drama Desk Award-winning 2012 play, The Whale.
