DarlingtonOS has a long and colourful history dating back over 100 years. The company as we know it today has been producing two full-scale musicals at Darlington Hippodrome for over 70 years.

An integral piece of the history of the venue, DarlingtonOS was instrumental in keeping the theatre alive in the late 1950s – ensuring the building was not demolished, later selling the building to the local Council who, to this day still run the theatre. A jewel in the crown of Edwardian theatre, Darlington Hippodrome is a receiving house for large scale professional touring shows with a seating capacity of over 1000.
