Theatre of Dare

Since 1991, Theatre of Dare has been the community theatre for North Carolina's Outer Banks. We are a non-profit volunteer organization made up of your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers. All proceeds from our shows go toward the costs of future productions, and to the annual scholarships we give to Dare County students. ​ We are a group dedicated to bringing the very best in community theatre to the people of the Outer Banks, and we welcome volunteers interested in any facet of theater production, from acting and directing to set construction and ticket taking. We are extremely proud of our shows, and we're looking forward to entertaining our community for generations to come and encouraging the love of theater in Dare County students.
